A case like this could easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I have had the same problem on any pc with an LG Electronics drive (cd/rw,cd,dvd rom). It was a little slow but no arguments from the install. Here is my post from another forum (Moderator: I hope that's OK?) which outlines my problem and hopefully, fix.

Consider getting a new computer with Windows 10. Also, since the utility cannot tell you which module, or possibly slot, is bad (for reasons also explained on the site) I still had some work to do. Next I took out my CD RW and replaced it with a new one and tried installing again. maybe that can solve your problems. Also they have suggested I disconnect any hardware I dont need (sound card network card etc). So I decide to take the hard-drive out of the computer and put it in my computer (totally different computer).
